Out in the country, it's beauty time again. Gold pastures,orange tall grass, hardwoods of every hue, and skies the brightest blue imaginable.I don't know what's more mindblowing, golden leaves and azure sky,or golden leaves and stormy skies of grey. Both take my breathe away.Both make me thank God for eyes to see. Get out in the country and enjoy the unspoiled panorama soon. It'll do your heart good.

If the movie " An Inconvenient Truth" is showing in your town, GO SEE IT!!! It may well change the course of your life. It's great to eat organic,recycle and go to yoga class, but it's really time to get our government to wake up to this issue,or face unimaginable consequences.Our planet is in trouble, and we, as a country, need to put on the brakes and change the way we do business. See it for yourself. -Rebecca

whew! it's hot down here. in the morning it's okay, but by one o'clock or so the heat really builds up and everyone starts to sweat. we drink plenty of cold water and just try to keep moving, r e a l s l o w. just keep moving is the ticket. it regualrly reaches 95 - 100 degrees in r. wood studio, but like we say, only the strong survive at r.wood.

everything is really green out in the country. wild pink roses are pouring over fenceposts and hanging out of trees looking for the sun. the honeysuckle is blooming all in the wild along the roadsides, and when it's early in the morning or right before a rain, the cool,moist air becomes imbued with the intoxicating scent. you can feel the sweetness on your skin. when you close your eyes and breathe it in, you feel nothing but ecstacy.
